The OpenVMS FAQ
Edition: September 2006
The OpenVMS Frequently Asked Questions (OpenVMS FAQ; VMSFAQ) provides answers to many of the common questions encountered with HP OpenVMS. Whether you are seeking tutorial or reference documentation for OpenVMS or associated products, or information on resetting a forgotten password for the SYSTEM username, where to find programming-related information and source code examples, on timekeeping and timezone (TZ) and daylight saving time (DST) implementation details, or any of many other topics, the OpenVMS FAQ will be of interest.
The OpenVMS FAQ is available in PDF, Postscript, Text and HTML formats, and as an easily-downloadable zip archive.
For more advanced requirements, zip archives of the HTML in native format, of HTML in Stream LF format. The Stream LF format HTML files are suitable for hosting from Unix and Windows web servers, and for access from web browsers on these systems using local copies of the files.
